Whether you are planning your own or a loved one's funeral, Reverend Scott L. Grossman can work with you to suggest how to make the final celebration special with personal touches.
Reverend Scott, an ordained minister, offers funeral and memorial services that recognize and show respect for the unique individual who has died. The ceremony also honors and appreciates the chain of humanity who suffers the loss of that individual.
Because every person and every situation is different, Reverend Scott identifies the need to affirm the values the individual stood for in life. Reverend Scottt will share and plan the ceremony with you, emphasizing the beliefs the individual was dedicated to in life.
This way the ceremony is based on readings, ritual and music in alignment with the individual's philosophy and lifestyle.
Some individuals even choose to write portions of their own final celebration of life ceremony.

At the first consulation, Reverend Scott provides free information about final planning, the types of services available, and a sample ceremony for your review.

One of the most thoughtful gifts we can give our loved ones is to plan our own after-death arrangements. By facing the certainty of death while we are still young and in good health, we can spare our families unnecessary stress when death occurs. These plans can also lessen the possibility that our family will run up an enormous debt from decisions they make while they are in the grieving process.

The suggestion donation for a funeral or memorial service ranges from $50-$150.
Here is a poem as an example;

Remembered
If you bake bread with the wheat that grows on my grave
you’ll become drunk with joy and
even the oven will recite ecstatic poems.
If you come to pay your respects
even my gravestone will invite you to dance
so don’t come without your drum
.
Don’t be sad. You have come to God’s feast.
Even death cannot stop my yearning
for the sweet kiss of my love.
Tear my shroud and wear it as a shirt,
the door will open and you will hear
the music of your soul fill the air.
I am created from the
ecstasy of love and
when I die, my essence will be released
like the scent of crushed rose petals
